This Privacy Policy explains how Soft Bastards processes personal data collected through softbastards.com, currently used as the pre-launch page for the Soft Bastards store.
This notice is provided in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) and applicable Italian and European data protection and electronic communications legislation.

Through the Coming Soon page, we may collect:
- your email address, if you choose to receive the store launch notification and launch offer;
- your WhatsApp phone number, if you choose to receive the same communication via WhatsApp;
- consent-related information, including the date and time of registration, communication channel selected, language and version of the consent wording accepted;
- technical information necessary for the operation and security of the website, which may include IP address, browser type, device information and other technical data automatically generated by the hosting infrastructure.
We do not collect payment details, purchase information or customer account information through this page.
If you provide your email address and give your consent, we will use it solely to:
- tell you when Soft Bastards opens;
- send you the launch offer.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent, under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
If you provide your phone number and separately consent to WhatsApp communications, we may use it solely to:
- tell you when Soft Bastards opens;
- send you the launch offer through WhatsApp.

Email and WhatsApp consent are separate. You may choose either channel, both channels or neither.
Strictly necessary technical data may be processed in order to operate, protect and securely deliver the website.
This processing is based on our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure and functioning website.
You are not required to provide any personal data.
If you do not provide your email address, we simply cannot notify you by email.
If you do not provide your WhatsApp number, we cannot contact you through WhatsApp.
Refusing consent for one channel does not prevent you from choosing the other.
Personal data is mainly processed electronically using appropriate measures designed to protect it from unauthorised access, loss, alteration or improper disclosure.
Access is limited to people and service providers who genuinely need the data for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or provide our mailing list or WhatsApp numbers to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
The Coming Soon website uses technology services provided by Google, including:
- Firebase Hosting, to host the website;
- Google Apps Script, to process form submissions;
- Google Sheets, to store the pre-launch list and consent records.
Google may act as a data processor for personal data processed on our behalf under the applicable data processing and security terms.
We may also use technical service providers strictly necessary for domain registration, DNS management and infrastructure security.
Some technology providers may process personal data in countries outside the European Economic Area.
Where this occurs, transfers will be carried out in accordance with applicable data protection law, using, as appropriate, adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission, or other safeguards permitted under the GDPR.
Pre-launch list data will only be kept for as long as necessary to manage the Soft Bastards launch.
Unless a longer period is required by law, data will be deleted:
within 90 days after the launch campaign has ended and, in any event, no later than 12 months after it was collected.
If you withdraw your consent earlier, we will stop using the relevant contact details without undue delay.
We may retain only the minimum information necessary to document a withdrawal of consent or comply with legal obligations.
The consent collected through this page covers the store opening notification and the related launch offer.
Providing your details does not automatically subscribe you to an ongoing newsletter.
If we later want to send regular news, product updates or additional promotional communications, we will request appropriate consent.
You may withdraw your consent at any time without giving a reason.
You can do so by:

- for WhatsApp communications, replying to our message and asking not to receive further messages;
- using any unsubscribe option provided in the communication you receive.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
Where provided by the GDPR, you may request:
- access to your personal data;
- correction of inaccurate information;
- deletion of your data;
- restriction of processing;
- data portability, where applicable;
- objection to processing, where applicable;
- withdrawal of consent at any time.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) or the competent supervisory authority in the country where you live.
The Coming Soon version of the website does not use advertising cookies, profiling tools or marketing tracking technologies.
The site may use only technical tools necessary for its operation and, if enabled, local storage to remember your language preference between Italian and English.
This information is not used to build advertising profiles.
If we later introduce analytics tools, advertising pixels or other non-essential technologies, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, introduce an appropriate consent management system.
Personal data collected through the Coming Soon page is not used for automated decision-making or profiling.
We may update this Privacy Policy if the website, the services we use or our data processing activities change.
The current version will always be available on this page together with the date of the latest update.
